Bronze Rumba
This Bronze routine is much more complex than the Beginner Rumba Routine, and is intended for dancers who are comfortable enough with their own dancing that they can begin to dance more complex combinations. This routine makes frequent use of Fan Position, through the Closed Hip Twist, the Alemana, and the Hockey Stick, while adding a layer of complexity with the New York, Spot Turn, Underarm Turn, and Hand to Hand section.

Rumba is danced with the audience in mind, with the Man always facing the audience in Fan Position. Although not a priority for most Bronze dancers, this routine adheres to that principle. In order to maintain the integrity of the alignments, it is imperative that the Natural Top be ended facing the correct alignment, or at least within 1/8 of that alignment, compensating on the following figure to return to the correct alignment. Furthermore, the Alemana will be used to turn the couple, so the New York opens up toward the audience.
