Silver Quickstep
Silver Quickstep Routine 1
This routine focuses heavily on rotation, and as such is particularly strong when danced by shorter couples with lower centres of gravity, and who must rely on rotation rather than height to catch the judges' eyes. It commences with a Natural Pivot Turn into a Natural Spin Turn to start off with strong rotation to the right. Later in the routine, the sequence of Reverse Pivot into two Double Reverse Spins and a Reverse Telemark adds a beautiful yet challenging rotational progression to the routine. Finally, the Running Right Turn recaptures the Natural rotation to recommence this short routine. This routine can be combined with Routine 2 for a longer routine that encompasses both strong rotation and also strong movement (just remove one Running Right Turn so it doesn't become repetitive).
N.B. The Commencing Alignments given are those of the Man. From this alignment and the figure itself, the Lady's alignment can be inferred.

Silver Quickstep Routine 2
This routine focuses heavily on movement, and as such is particularly strong when danced by taller couples with longer legs, who can cover distance easily. Figures that cover ground like the Forward and Back Lock, the Four Quick Runs, and the V6 are included in this routine, yet it still maintains elements of rotation, commencing with the Natural Spin Turn and ending with the Running Right Turn. This routine can be combined with Routine 1 for a longer routine that encompasses both strong rotation and also strong movement (just remove one Running Right Turn so it doesn't become repetitive).
